RPA Developer, Web Developer
Community Board Observer & Moderator

About me

I'm a web & certified RPA developer, with 7 years experience in UiPath and 11 years overall in professional development.

Certifications:

I'm also a Community Moderator for technology company nothing.community since March 2022, as well as the current Community Board Observer for 2025.

Presence

Nothing Community

As the elected 2025 Community Board Observer, I am the voice between Nothing and its community. I collate the community's feedback and thoughts and raise these to the board during quarterly meetings, then present comments back to the community.

I created r/NothingTech in January 2021 and I've been a Community Moderator since March 2022.

Discord

A Discord user since April 2016, I'm now one of two head moderators for Nothing's official community.

I've created a number of Discord bots in discord.py with varying features such as: welcoming members with fun stats, highlighting user messages and integrating with third party APIs from 𝕏 and Flarum to produce live feeds.

𝕏

I have a small, growing presence on 𝕏 where my main focus is tech.

r/NothingTech bot

Using PRAW, this bot helps users find support and reminds them to update thread flairs for solved queries. I also coded a thanks/points system to award good contributions, which was never used.

  • Respond to the support command, informing the previous user of ways to get in touch with Nothing support.
  • Remind users to update their thread flair to 'Solved', or update it for them if asked via command.
Technologies:
  • Python

Wedding site

I created a website for our wedding guests to RSVP and find out more information about our wedding. I was then able to reuse this as a template for my sister-in-law's wedding.

  • Allow guests to log in with their name + party password.
  • Show information about the wedding such as its location, accommodation and FAQ.
  • Have guests RSVP electronically, confirming attendance, menu choice and dietary requirements.
  • Admin area to view RSVP entries, email guests and alter FAQ dynamically.
Technologies:
  • Django
  • Python
  • HTML
  • SCSS
  • JavaScript

Leave log

I created this private site to help me and my wife keep track of our work leave allowance.

  • Track remaining leave and whether holidays are planned, submitted or approved.
  • Use the gov.uk API to retrieve bank holidays and disallow selection.
  • Ability to add up to 10 days leave and carry 3 over from the previous year.
  • Track leave that doesn't deduct from allowance, such as TOIL.
